Clara is hard at work making sure her friends receive their holiday sweets before their celebrations begin. Falling fast asleep in her Pâtisserie mid-whisk, her dreams are just as sweet as all of the delicious treats awaiting their finishing touch!
No experience necessary, casting will be determined by your demonstrated:
-willingness to try new things
-interest in acting and character development
-attendance of a regular ballet class
-rehearsal availability: kindly refer to your password protected link for rehearsal and performance details

This creative, play-based weekly class will introduce young students to the structure of ballet class through dance games, activities, and improvisation!
Pre Ballet: Wednesday 4:45-5:15p
Please note:
Pre-Ballet students must be 3 years old by August 20th of the enrolling school year.
Policy and Procedure:
Kindly remain nearby and refrain from leaving the building during class should your dancer require assistance prior to dismissal.
To ensure student safety, dancers will remain inside the studio with their instructor until an authorized parent or caregiver arrives at the door for pickup. Students will not be permitted to leave the studio unescorted.
Pre Ballet students are encouraged to wear simple, comfortable clothes and ballet shoes. Shoes may be purchased from Movin’ Easy Dancewear. ACMI dress code is required in Level 1 classes and up.
Students must wear street shoes and cover-ups to and from the studio. Ballet shoes worn outside will not be permitted inside the studio, as rocks and dirt brought in from outside can be damaging to the floors.

Join Emily in 4Pointe, a special class dedicated to meeting the training needs of today’s dancers. 4Pointe was developed by master teacher, dancer and creator, Lynne Charles, and was officially established in 2019 following many years of research.
The focus of this class centers around building dynamic strength, balance and coordination by using proper posture of the bare foot and ankle to move through a series of exercises designed to make for a seamless transition into pointe shoes.

Connect your care teams: Ms. Emily will work with your PT (after all needed forms have been relayed and submitted) to tailor your training sessions.
Solo development: Finish this series with a set ballet or contemporary solo. Please note that additional rehearsal time may be necessary to achieve your desired level of mastery. Take 10% off costuming services when you order from Tutus by Em.

Company Jackets are part of the required uniform for ACMI company artists participating in performances.
Jackets are full-zip hoodies with Austin Classical Movement Institute embroidered on the front left.
These are available in youth and adult sizes, feel free to order for family members as well. Size up for a roomier fit your dancer can grow into over a couple of seasons, these run true to size and arrive pre-shrunk.
ACMI branding is embroidered, please wash gently on a warm setting with the jacket zipped and turned inside-out to maintain the integrity of the stitching.
